Subclipse Issue: Multiple backend versions

I would like to put in a bug/issue for Subclipse. The deal is that the current version of subclipse can only talk to whatever Subversion it is linked against. This is problematic in an enterprise environment when you may be dealing with several back end versions of subversion. There should be a way for subclipse to decide what the back end version is and talk to it using what is appropriate.
