no, no. svn -version says "Version 1.2.3". All is well.

As I said, the downloaded subversion tar.gz file contains the 2 root directories
"subversion" and "subversion-1.2.3". Unless you manually copy the former into
the latter, JavaHL cannot be built.

I agree this belongs on the subversion list. However, I think this would make a
good amendment to the subclipse/linux FAQ as well..
