Hi all,
I just came over a problem wich I found reported as #74 (delete). I for
myself would prefer if Subclipse would not handle the standard delete
functionality in Eclipse. "Delete from repository" should only triggered
by hand using the delete entry in the Team context menu IMHO.
But - this lead me to another problem, described below:
I also updated versioned files with an generator. To workaround issue
#74, I delete the files in the file system (windows explorer) instead of
in Eclipse - after generating, Subclipse will recognze the files as
changed, I can commit, and everything is fine.
But, while playing around, I found that if you delete files in windows
explorer, you cannot revert the deletion in subclipse. TortoiseSVN will
show the file es "missing", Subclispe does not. I think that's a bug.
The way I came over this: I deleted 3 files from file system to be
re-generated, but only 2 files where generated again. I saw this in
Eclipse, and wanted to revert the missing 3rd file from the repository,
which didn't work.
My environment:
- Eclipse 3.1.0
- Subclipse 0.9.32
- Version Control with Subversion 1.1.1
- Windows XP SP2
Best regards,
Ralf
