"Report probles as you type" not working

From: Nate Drake <ndrake_at_gmail.com>

Hi,

I just installed Eclipse 3.1 and the latest Subclipse. I then checked
out my code doing a "checkout as project" from the SVN Repository
Exploring perspective. When I open one of my Java files, and insert a
typo (i.e. remove a semicolon), Eclipse is not highlighting this as an
error.

The "Report problems as you type" option is checked under Preferences
| Java | Editor. Do I need to do something else to enable this
feature?

When I used Eclipse with CVS, I don't think I had to do anything
special to get this working.

Thanks for any advice.

Nate
