commit does nothing

Hi all!

I am a brazilian java developer and I'd like to ask some help.

After doing some edition in a file of my project (e.g. myFile.java),
when I press "commit" in the team menu, nothing happens.

If I go to the bash console and execute "svn status", my file is listed
like "M myFile.java".
To workaround and can commit my changes I have to execute "svn commit
--message 'my message' ".

Is the "commit" operation not implemented?
How can I fix/change this behavior?

I'm using:
    Eclipse 3.0
    Subclipse 0.9.30
    SVN Team Provider Core 0.9.30
    SVN Team Provider UI 0.9.30
    Version Control with Subverision 1.1.1
    Mandriva Linux 10 (ex Conectiva Linux 10)
