Eclipse has its own compare feature that just takes the two "streams" and
compares them itself. svn diff has special intelligence to diff files
without having problems with line endings or keyword expansions. Ideally,
there would be a way to feed the diff to the Eclipse compare but currently
that does not appear to be the case.

Perhaps one of the devs could offer some explanation as to what might be
causing this problem if it is not line endings?
