I don't know, I have been using Eclipse for a long time and use the Update
Manager for my own plugins. In my experience Eclipse does not ever delete
the old versions. Perhaps, they improved it in 3.0, but that is not the
way it worked in 2.0. Also, the user implied he had a 0.9.5, .6 and .7 so
if you changed it in .4 he should have only had a .3 and .7.
