3.0 Status

Eclipse 3.0 has been released as you all know, meaning many more of you
will be trying the subclipse-3 branch code (the stuff from the loonsoft
update site). Please bear in mind that the subclipse-3 code is
INCOMPLETE at this time. Specifically, compare and synchronize (in all
forms) are not implemented (and haven't ever been since M8). The
implementation of these functions is very definitely at the top of our
list of things to do.

If you are wondering what's taking so long, take a look at the eclipse
cvs plugin implementation... it's enormously complicated.
Additionally, the synch/compare isv documentation was not completed
until eclipse 3.0 final (and in fact some of the more interesting
placeholder sections were excised completely in the final release).

In short, we know subclipse-3 isn't all there yet. Just sit tight, it's
being worked on.
