I'm yet to experience an issue with any of the Subclipse releases being
incompatible with whatever version of Subversion I had running at any
particular time.
In other words, all versions of Subclipse seem to be compatible with all
versions of Subversion.
The problem lies in compatibility between Subclipse and Eclipse.
We're using the r503 version that is compatible with our Eclipse 3.0 M7, and
our Subversion 1.0.1.
As has been stated on numerous occasions in the last month, Subclipse
doesn't have a version compatible with M8 yet (and as McClain said a few
days ago, won't be for a while yet), a version for M9 is even further away
I'd say.
Perhaps you'll have to step back to M7, or do some dev to help McClain on
Subclipse?

Too bad i'm riding the (almost) bleeding edge with M8 and will be
switching to M9 on friday (unless it has killer bugs). I hate to be
annoying, but is there any word on support for Eclipse 3.0 and 1.0.2?
