The basic problem is that the font and size is one which on the Mac is
really hard to read. Sometimes Word documents, even at 100% zoom are
also unreadable for similar reasons. What I can say, is that the
general tooltips you see in Eclipse, such as the JavaDoc pop-ups in
the Java editor are very readable. So my best recommendation would be
to try to see what it is doing.

You can commit another project. Is that were the tests currently live?

It'd be great to know you want to continue working on this past GSoC.
The work you have done is excellent and I'd like to work towards
getting it integrated into the project. Documentation would probably
be good. I've purposely involved working directly on your project
during the GSoC period, but once it is over and we have submitted your
code it'd be good to get Steve and others involved in refining the UI.
It looks good, but I think we still need to do more to make it more
and more compact.

I am assuming you have seen those 10,000 foot views of diagrams that
GEF apps tend to put in the Outline view. I think one of those would
be very useful. See this as an example:

It'd be good to integrate some context-sensitive menus. You should be
able to click on a node and do something like Show Log, or
Diff/Annotate, Checkout/Switch etc. Just integrating one or two
options as a Proof of Concept would be good.
