This is an exception thrown from Subversion. We cannot just eat it. I
think you are making a big assumption in assuming it is meaningless and
that it can just be ignored too.

If you run your Synch in the background, I do not believe the error message
will just pop-up. I have at least seen occasions where I get an
exclamation point in the botton corner and clicking it then shows the
dialog. Ultimately, Eclipse is in control of that dialog.
