This is not true. Many organizations (serious, professional and otherwise)
wouldn't give a second thought to doing so on internal networks. Some would
even do it over the internet. Take off your tinfoil hat for a moment and
think about it seriously and professionally.

In any event, i started looking at it, then realized i hadn't compiled ssl
into my client. Might get around to it this weekend.
