Ready for 1.9.0RC1 next Friday?

It seems that bug fixing has calmed down and the
ApacheCON next week would be a good opportunity
to fix the last issues.

As of now, there are 2 issues scheduled for 1.9.0:

There are also a handful API issues left from the review
that need to be checked but none of these are hard to solve.

1.9.x/STATUS is business as usual. The 2 release blockers
simply need review.

So ... ready to go?
