My gut feeling would be "yes", but doing it that way might make some
people even more offended.

FWIW, rolling another alpha release after this vote is tallied only
wastes time for those of us who've actually made the effort to (roll
and) test alpha1 and alpha2; those who dismiss alpha releases as a waste
of time should "s/time/other peoples' time/g".

But who cares, right.
