Password encryption on *NIX.

Hello,

I am looking for a way to encrypt the password on UNIX by tweaking libraries rather than running a daemon ? Or at least by running one central daemon per site/company? Running personal keyring daemons on grid is not what I am looking for. I have opened a topic for this here -> http://www.svnforum.org/2017/viewtopic.php?p=30565#30565

I am not looking at a solution which enables server side option of forcing password cache or not as it does not change how the password gets encrypted.

Thanks,
Sam
