Hi Hugo,

Just to start - please let me say there is absolutely nothing wrong
with you pinging your own patch submission to ensure it stays on
people's radar.

But just to ease any concerns you might have, please don't take the
lack of a response as being anything negative towards your patch - or
your efforts in providing one.
Quite often there are phases of time - whereby the full-committers are
just just so committed to what they are currently doing, themselves -
they just don't have the time to do a follow-up review or commit our
patch in a "speedy" manner.

I am sure it will be addressed as soon as someone with the appropriate
expertise for your patch will get back to you - and once again thanks
very much for your patch.
