Re: Subversion Hackathon at SubConf 2009 -- are you coming?

That's excellent. I'm coming, and last year I found it immensely
team-building and inspiring to be in a "community room" where we could
hang out, coding quietly or in pairs, asking the questions we are shy of
asking by email, discussing the current and the future.

Earlier I was thinking that maybe I'd not stay for the third day (just
because there's only one presentation in English then), but a
"hackathon" is more than enough reason to stay: it's more productive for
the long term than spending the same time working privately.

I remember we made an agenda last year and discussed things on it, and
that took up more than all of the first day. Then we broke informally
into smaller discussion groups afterwards. It felt frantic: so much to
do, so little time. It was good.
