It's quite practical for you and me to test a thousand combinations
every now and then. It's just not practical to include them all in the
regular regression tests. It would be good to have a test that is
capable of systematically testing all combinations, and we can run it
occasionally by special command. When the regression test suite runs
normally, it should test just a few of the combinations.
