I was assuming that all of the proposals to choose from would be
proposals that are acceptable to the community. Any proposal would still
be structured in such a way that the work done for that sponsor would
not get in the way of other people developing extra capabilities.

I don't know, but I expect we could resolve this situation by talking to
them about it.

Actually, I meant "Here we need to specify reasonable expectations for
responding to any communication that needs response within a day or so",
not "We will communicate every day".
