It looks like we're making good progress on the items in TODO-1.6, with all the
items either completed or claimed. They currently are:

 * Actually document how to build with SQLite (ie, make the part in
INSTALL not blank, explain how to build against a newer version
of SQLite than what may be installed in your system, figure out
if the text in sqlite.m4 about being able to use a sqlite/
subdirectory is in any way true, etc etc)

 * Tree conflicts - essential issues:

   - #3334: "Merry-go-round" about update updating the base.

 * Switch to skel for TC information, rather than using another
   serialization format.

I think Greg has the first and third items, and Julian the second. Do we have
an ETA for completion of this items? Do we think that a Friday branch is still
workable?

Thanks,

PS - I seem to recall some problems with various bindings tests. If these
problems exist, we should probably get them into TODO-1.6 so that they are
tracked as blockers for branch.
