The intervals between millions are getting shorter. Looks like we are
constantly having > 500.000 downloads per month now.

My best guess would be that TortoiseSVN is the most popular Subversion
client in numbers, but that would give subversion at least half a
million Windows users per month, probably a lot more.

The number of downloads is just some indication; with AnkhSVN we see
quite a difference in real users checking for updates and the number of
downloads; the number of installations is probably higher as it is very
easy to deploy TortoiseSVN from a single installation through an entire
organization.
