That's for servers. Greg's proposed SQLite dependency would apply to
clients as well.

I'm in favor, by the way. Breaking this change down into small steps is
good for users *because* it's good for developers, in the long run. If
people ask why the new dependency, we write a FAQ entry and point 'em to
it. Introducing a new dependency mainly affects packagers, not users
(the fact that we *hear* from some of the users who care should be taken
with a grain of salt: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Selection_bias).
