Er, um, yeah, serf *works* against googlecode.com, but checkouts are
like 10x slower than using neon. Still a big problem. Latest
hypothesis is that google's infrastructure hates getting too many
simultaneous connection from a single IP, so it starts rejecting them,
which causes serf to frantically re-try the failed ones.
