1.5.0 and Perl Bindings and Perl 5.10.0

Has anyone been testing the Perl bindings recently (like on the 1.5.0 branch)?
Possibly more importantly, has anyone tested the Perl bindings with Perl 5.10.0
at all?

I've been insanely busy and unable to even finish upgrading my primary desktop
to use 5.10.0. I tried once and got much smoke and fire shooting out of my PC.
 I loaded up a Xen kernel to try and create a smoke VM, but I'm even having
problems just building 1.4.6 there (lots of basic tests are failing), so
something is seriously wrong with my environment. :(

I'm just concerned that (as usual) the bindings are last to be considered in the
rush to finish up work before an RC. I strongly urge at least a few people try
and test using Perl 5.8.8 & 5.10.0 before RC1...
