Yeah, the tricky balance here is to decide who gets inconvenienced
when. If we delay the 1.5 branch too long, we're frustrating some set
of people who want to work on new features (who have to work in
feature branches in the meantime). If we branch right after cmpilato
is done working, we risk frustrating other 1.5-developers who still
have work to do (like Kamesh and Karl), who will then have to backport
everything they do to the 1.5 branch. After cmpilato finishes up,
let's take stock of who we're inconveniencing. :-)
