Issue? Using via Apache, GET response headers do not include Content-MD5

I asked this question over on the user list, and got directed here.

This is certainly a minor issue, if it even is one.

My company has Subversion set up using Apache. If I use an HTTP GET on a
file, there is no Content-MD5 header in the response, even though using
the command-line cadaver client, I can do a "propget" request on the
file, and there is a md5-checksum property for that same resource. It
seems to me that if the data is available, SVN ought to provide it, but
maybe this is difficult to do?

Should I file an issue for this? Is this by design?

-Eric.
