Our discussion yesterday was pretty productive. The functional spec is
done, and Dan and I discussed some ideas relating to the implementation
of 'svn log --merge-sensitive'. I've updated both documents, the
functional spec here:
http://subversion.tigris.org/merge-tracking/func-spec.html#commutative-author-and-rev
and the design here:
http://subversion.tigris.org/merge-tracking/design.html#audit-operations

Feedback is always welcome.

Also, I'm going to start working on implementation of 'svn log
--merge-sensitive' in the next couple of weeks. Due to the (hopefully)
pending branch of 1.5, I'm initially going to do the work on a branch.
If the branch for 1.5 gets pushed back, or the auditing work goes
quickly, we can merge that back to trunk and get it into the 1.5
release. I just don't want to have some half-baked auditing
implementation holding up the 1.5 branch.
