If there are students who want to help with partial checkouts,
a.k.a. sparse directories, I'd be happy to mentor. The students
should be warned that it's a complex problem and that they'll need to
be somewhat familiar with the Subversion code before starting. (Maybe
that extra two months can help with this.)
