There's no regression to the Perl bindings, only an incomplete
addition of functionality. Whether the incomplete changes causes a
problem to the Ruby bindings, I don't know for certain. I do know
that all the tests pass, but as we saw with the Perl bindings, this
may not be a sufficient measuring stick.

Kou (or someone else familiar with the Ruby bindings), can you take a
look at the state of the Ruby bindings in the 1.4.3 tarball, and give
us a thumbs up or down?

Thanks, Dan
