Thanks for rolling the tarballs Max!

Tested:
- verified content of package with branches/1.4.x@22196
- 6-way tests: (fsfs + bdb) x (ra_local + ra_svn + ra_dav)
- built and tested javahl
- built python and perl bindings

Not tested: any of the bindings.

Build environment:
- Visual C++ 2005 Express Edition
- Apache 2.0.59
- apr/apr-util/apr-inconv as included in apache 2.0.59 package (=0.9.12)
- bdb 4.4.20
- Neon 0.26.1
- zlib 1.2.3 (from the deps package)
- OpenSSL 0.9.7i

For the bindings:
- Swig 1.3.25
- Python 2.4.3
- Perl 5.8.8
- jdk 1.4.2_12
- junit 3.8.2

This setup was working correctly, all tests passed. As a partial
committer I can give a +0 (non-binding) vote.

I found two issues when building the Java and swig bindings, both (most
probably) related to the windows build system:
1. Building the __JAVAHL__ target in VC2005 fails with missing include
files. Building the javahl_javah target first acts as a workaround.
2. When including serf while creating the solution and project files I
couldn't build the swig bindings anymore. An option
-I"..\..\..\..\serf\" is passed to the swig executable, which - because
of the closing '\' - fails to execute. I don't know where that '\' comes
from, at least I didn't specify it when creating the project files. I'll
check it out.

My sigs are attached.

Lieven.
