My first attempt a couple of weeks ago, was on the users irc channel (or
whatever).
The answer there was to make my questions here.

Anyway, I believe I might eventually be in situation to offer patches,
unless everything ends up being plain errors of mine. But even so, some
errors might be prevented by better documentation, error reports, or
consistency.

Pedro Lamarao already found that I had missed the available neon,
because of using a wrong syntax on the configure line.

> Did you build Subversion and its dependencies using a non-blocking
souce of entropy (e.g. egd)?

I only now downloaded egd --I had not noticed this issue before.
