Re: 1.4.0-rc1 tarballs up for testing/signing

Hi,

Just a quick reminder, following a conversation on IRC:

We are blessing an RC release here. As such, as long as the issues
you find are minor (a test fails on your system), please do provide
the sigs to release the RC to the general public.

I will collate the bug reports you make in the thread, an announce
them as I announce the release of the RC.

So, please do not abort and go do something else if you find bugs.
Unless we find a security/dataloss/packaging issue, I am very much
intent on releasing 1.4.0rc1 to the general public, warts and all.

So far, I see nothing that justifies burning RC1 and pushing back the
public soak period. So, all of you in doubt, please do test and post
both bugreports and sigs :-)

- Dave.
