The fact that nobody was able to answer your question on the users
list does not necessarily make it appropriate for the developers list.
 The dev list is for discussions related to the development of
subversion, it is not a user support forum.

It's unfortunate that you have not yet gotten an answer to your
question, but adding it to the already overwhelming flow of mail on
the development list is not a reasonable solution to that problem.
