[PATCH] more typo/wording fixes

Here are some more typo fixes.

Also there are two "wording" improvements:

 1. Replaced "summation" with "sum" in one place. Even if "summation"
    is maybe correct (google to see that it's not so certain), "sum"
    is *certainly* correct, and shorter/simpler -- ie, a clear win.

 2. Replaced "Now, later, ..." with just "Later, ..." which is
    simpler, less confusing, and no less correct.

Hope that's ok all in one patch.
