Ditto. The cost of adding this one feature is minimal compared to the
actual tangible benefits that we can provide everywhere Subversion
runs on.

Forcing us to use GNU diff really hurts on non-Linux platforms that
don't come with GNU diff (Solaris, Win32, etc.). It just means that
no one will ever use these features - which is a shame... -- justin
