Having been one of the [non-core] people trying to make changes across
multiple libraries (and getting burned because of it), I'm also with
"JUST PICK SOMETHING!" crowd.

Of course, just to be difficult, I prefer no-space-before-parens for
funtion calls (and liberal, nay overflowing, usage of whitespace
otherwise), but that's just me. I can adapt.
