This is indeed the right place - although wishlist items tend to falter
unless they are advanced to the stage of a clear feature description
that then gets filed as a FEATURE issue.

Towards the end of advancing the discussion to that point, I have
started a new thread titled "[DESIGN] Enhanced svn:ignore syntax" -
please have a look at it, and check it addresses your use cases, and
make any comments you might think of.
