This might be off-topic, which is why I did not quote anything. But I
would think a Netware port would just be for the server portions of
Subversion in which case you would not need Neon.

I have not used Netware since 3.11 so things have undoubtedly changed a
lot, but other than possibly scripts of some sort, what would be the
scenario where you would need Subversion client functionality running on a
Netware server?

I only point this out, because some times people think Neon is used by the
mod_dav_svn server option.
