Only inconsistent in the intended way, unless I'm missing something. The (1)
versions can operate on multiple properties (same prop name on different items)
whereas the (2) versions can only operate on a single (revision) property.

The summaries of all commands are (I believe) consistently imperative.

No, both (1) and (2) mean "When used"; that's a result of your misunderstanding
above, I think.

The detailed descriptions describe what it does specifically, though I'll admit
they aren't all very good. OK, not many of them are very good. But they're
not too bad either.

Yes, "from" would be better in the case of "remove". I'll keep it in mind for
when I make some tweaks.
