For people who work mostly offline: big problem.

Our plan was to: Get the lock, get on the
plane/train/whatever, keep working, get back and check
in and release the lock.

Unless lock expiration can be turned off/ignored on
the server, SVN locking is essentially useless for
people on the move.

I'm unable to find anything about this topic in the
1.2 online docs.
