Not necessarily, but it could be useful for such things (yes, I realize
there is an overhead associated with logging). I honestly can't say
that I have a particular use-case in mind, but I do know that client
applications are becoming more and more complex. I was thinking that
automated build tools, GUI clients, proxies, and other Subversion tools
would benefit from this capability. *shrug*
