This was fixed in r14405 and merged to the branch after RC2.

(Unfortunately, there were no "free" columns in the update output. I added
two columns to not have to break compatibility the next time we need a
column.

Yes, I think that's a good idea. Regarding the status output, we didn't
have to break compatibility, since there were unused columns.
