Hmm, I agree. Removing BDB support is not an acceptable step.
David: Can you provide me with SSH access to an RHEL3 (or WBEL/CentOS/etc.)
box?
I'd be willing to help work on improving the isolation of the
Subversion-private build of BDB 4.2 so that it co-operates peaceably with
the system BDB 4.1.
