Building Subversion with apr 1.1.x

From: Hyrum K. Wright <hyrum_wright_at_byu.edu>

Is it correct to build the Subversion trunk with version 1.1.x of apr
and apr-utils, or should I be using 0.9.x? I built it with 1.1.x and it
seems to work fine, but what is the "official" stance? apr 1.1.x breaks
binary compatibility with 0.9.x, but does that affect Subversion's
binary compatibility policy as well? Even though apr 1.1.x works, I
want to build with the version which will be recommended for end users.

Thanks,
Hyrum
