"Rep" in this context means "repository." I can understand your confusion,
but I would say the Subversion developers would not use the "rep"
abbreviation for the terms you mention.

Subject: Abbreviations in subversion messages

Hi!

I am translating now subversion messages and I would like to show my view
about the following messsage (and similar):

#: libsvn_fs_base/reps-strings.c:758
#, c-format
msgid "Rep contents are too large: got %s, limit is %s"

I think that using abbreviations in messages may cause misunderstaning or
confusing not only translator but user of svn. In the following message "Rep"
means Representation and of course "Rep" is also abbreviation of Repositorium
word. Am I right?!

Greets,
Karol
