Subversion is not a source control system. It's a version control
system. Let's keep that distinction, please.
That said, there are other ways besides "svn obliterate" to keep the
last N versions of a file in the repository. I think it would even be
easier to implement unversioned files than "svn obliterate". But we're
far from either feature.
