I was just discussing this with a colleague a few days ago. As far as my needs
are concerned, this is a serious missing feature -- I pay a service (wush.net)
for 50MB, and I don't want to go over. A way to delete old revisions or even
something like VSS's "store latest version only" would seem to be in order.

Just my two cents.

Certainly... this is just about reclaiming disk space for very large file
revisions no longer needed. The references to the past revisions can stay
in the database. Attempting to check them out would yield an error message,
I suppose.

Anyway, while I would expect a Berkeley DB to be able to reclaim the space,
I'm not sure how the immutable FSFS revisions would work.
