I see you deferred #890 until 1.3 (which is reasonable), but I do have an
outstanding patch for keywords-as-hash that I really want to get applied for
1.2. I only owe a doc patch to cover the new UUID keyword and the #2219
canonicalized keyword changes (which I can do by Monday at the latest).

I'd appreciate if someone could look at the patch and hopefully commit it sooner
rather than later (it does touch a bunch of files), so it doesn't get lost in
the final scramble for 1.3...
