new experimental branch: dir-auto-props (issue 1989)

Hello everybody!

I'm about to start a new experimental branch which should implement automatic
directory properties (dir-auto-props, like auto-props).

I'd make a separate config section for them, so that they're not mixed with
file-properties (which would not make sense IMO)

Any comments?
