Unfortunately the problem of merge tracking is rather more complex than
this script handles. There are a number of people on the subversion
team who have spent a fair amount of time thinking about it, and all of
them have come to the conclusion that to even define the problem will
take some time. I'm not saying we're not going to take the time to do
this, but it's not likely to happen right now, due to the fact that
people have other things they are currently working on, like locking
support for version 1.2.x.
